Feasibility and Operator Selection, Conrad Osaka – Osaka, Japan

Description: Horwath HTL was retained by the owner – a JV between a major Japanese general contractor and a giant media company – for the new development in the Nakanoshima area in Osaka.
Scope of work: We conducted market analysis, feasibility study and provide strategic advice on the positioning of the potential hotel development. Horwath HTL provided advisory on the new hotels strategic positioning in the luxury hotel market in Osaka. As a result, the owner confidently selected Conrad as the operator for the new hotel, which successfully opened in June 2017.
Status: The hotel is branded as Conrad Osaka and successfully opened in June 2017.
